IRFU CHIEFS must try harder to tackle final rules farce

Defeat is difficult to take at the best of the times. However, when it comes at the end of extra time, at the end of an All-Ireland play-off final, at the end of a 15-match All-Ireland League — and you haven’t actually conceded more points than the opposition — then I think it reasonable to feel hard done by. Such was Clontarf’s lot in Limerick on Saturday.
