Tigers in the hunt for Caucau

Leicester Tigers are the latest club to join the hunt for Rupeni Caucaunibuca.
Since returning to Fiji, the controversial wing, widely regarded as one of the finest in world rugby, has been in superb form for Tailevu and has attracted the interest of a host of top clubs overseas.
According to reports in the Fijian Times, Leicester have made arrangements to fly him over this week to discuss a playing contract.
Close to seven months out of rugby after being sent home by French Division Two side Agen, Caucau, 28, has sent ripples of excitement across the rugby world in his four outings for Tailevu by scoring five tries and helping the province  in their quest for the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.
Tailevu Rugby Union secretary Nimilote Naivalumaira confirmed an offer from Leicester Tigers was on the table.
“He will be flying over this week to look at the contract. Caucau will miss Saturday’s game against Rewa, but he’ll join us for next week’s game in Ovalau,” he said.
