England and the other home nations will learn this afternoon which of the world’s top teams they will face in the group stages of the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.

Martin Johnson’s men are second seeds along with Ireland, Wales and France and will definitely be drawn against one of the All Blacks, South Africa, Australia and Argentina.

Scotland already know they face an even stiffer task after failing to break into the top eight of the IRB rankings after the autumn internationals, meaning they will face two top eight sides in their pool.

The draw is scheduled to start at 3.00pm in London.
